Katie & Sean // Rhoscolyn Headland Pre Wedding Shoot // Anglesey Wedding Photographers

This was our first visit to Anglesey in Wales and it certainly won’t be our last, we have fallen in love with the place!

Katie & Sean’s pre wedding shoot took place just two days before their wedding in Anglesey. We don’t normally plan shoots this close to a wedding day but they live in Australia so it was a little far to go! They had already married in Melbourne and were now flying over to celebrate with all their UK friends and family.

As it was Zoe’s birthday over the same weekend as Katie & Sean’s wedding, we decided to turn it into a little holiday too. We hired a pretty little cottage in the small fishing town of Ceames on the north coast of Anglesey. It was the perfect spot to explore the Welsh island and take our dog Ripley for coastal walks, plus the outdoor hot tub was a great bonus especially after a long day of shooting on the wedding day!

We met Katie & Sean for their pre wedding shoot at her parents holiday home in Rhoscolyn on, Holy Island in Anglesey. They were hosting the wedding in the back garden and the tipi was already set up and preparations in full swing. We took the opportunity to explore the nearby headland and get ideas for the wedding day. The jagged rocks and view out to the sea were a spectacular setting for the shoot. We couldn’t have asked for better weather, it was glorious and check out the deep blue colour of the sky!

Unfortunately, in typical British style the weather took a turn two days later on their wedding day but Katie & Sean refused to let it ruin their day. This time their couple shoot on the headland was a little colder and wetter but it turned out to be one of the highlights for them.
