We love it when couples ask if they can bring their dog along on their pre wedding shoot. We have a little dachshund dog ourselves so we are always excited to meet our couples dogs, after all they are a part of a family! We met Tom & Kershia on a mild January day at their gorgeous little stone cottage home in Royston, Yorkshire. We had a chat about their winter wedding day plans then headed to their local wood where they often take their dog Ted for walks. They have fond memories of these beautiful woodlands in Yorkshire so it was a perfect spot for a relaxed wander and pre wedding shoot. Exploring among the tall pine trees together we found some great spots to stop for some photographs. The winter light was beautiful and the woods were filled with beautiful green and orange tones. Kershia & Tom were even up for climbing a pile of logs for a shot, it took a bit of balancing and supporting each other but had them both laughing!
We are looking forward to being their photographers at their winter wedding in Yorkshire. They have chosen the Hosptium in York as their venue, a beautiful 14th century listed building full of history and character. It is set within the beautiful Museum Gardens right in the heart of York city centre, nearby to the stunning ruins of St. Mary’s Abbey.
