Claire & Damien // Pre wedding shoot, Dunham Massey // Cheshire wedding Photography

Claire & Damien chose Dunham Massey for their pre wedding shoot as it’s a place they often love to visit, it is a stunning park that we’re always excited to use for pre wedding shoots in Manchester. We always find new and interesting locations for photos, a particular favourite of ours is the coach house with its big blue doors. We met early in the morning as the park opened before it really gets busy, only the odd dog walker and keen runner passed by.

Claire and Damien were, like many of our couples, a little nervous about the pre wedding shoot and having their photo taken. This is one reason why we love pre wedding shoots so much, it gives couples a chance to feel comfortable around us and feel relaxed in front of camera. Many, Claire and Damien included, say after the shoot they feel much more relaxed about the wedding day photography and even feel more excited for it! It also gives you the chance to see how we work, we don’t pose you and shoot naturally, we want your photos to reflect who you really are, so we focus on letting you be yourselves.

We often ask couples to simply have a chat and make each other laugh. You can talk about anything but as keen football fans supporting rival teams that definitely got Claire and Damien laughing. Claire a Man United fan and Damien a Liverpool supporter joked at each other about who was going to win the big match later that day. Much to Claire's delight United beat Liverpool. Their competitive spirit continued the next day when they went to the Crystal Maze. Claire won both her crystals but Damien didn’t win any so as you can imagine she spent the rest of the day winding him up about it!

Claire and Damien get married at the stunning Mitton Hall in Lancashire later this summer and we cannot wait!
