“Can we bring our vintage VW campervan along on the pre wedding shoot?” …..Yes of course!! We love it when couples incorporate something unique to themselves on a pre wedding shoot so when Kat & Ray asked if they could bring along their restored camper van we couldn't wait. Neptune is their retro blue VW that they take on days out with their kids Oliver & Joseph, who have their own personal batman themed seats in the back. It’s part of their family and they are even bringing it along on their wedding day at Thornton Manor!
Kat & Ray live in Bebington in Wirral, Merseyside so we met them and their two sons at the beautiful and unique town of Port Sunlight nearby. They pulled up their vintage van, and we had a wander in the glorious sunshine. We loved the retro blue colour of camper van against the lush green of the tree lined main street in the grade II listed village. In the glorious sunshine. Oliver & Joseph ran about having fun, cheekily pulling smiles for the cameras as we chatted to kat and ray about their wedding plans.
We can’t wait for their Alice in Wonderland themed garden wedding day at the lakeside pavilion at Thornton Manor. It sounds like Kat has a lot planned, crafting much of it herself.
