Rose & Josh // Stockport Town Hall and The Lead Station Chorlton

Last weekend we were lucky enough to photograph Rose & Josh's super stylish and relaxed wedding in Manchester, we are so excited to share a preview of their day with you!

Rose & Josh got married in the stunning surroundings of the council chambers at Stockport Town hall followed by drinks in the beautiful marble staircase. They then hopped on vintage buses with their guests and headed to Chorlton, a place we love as Zoe used to live there herself! They chose The Lead Station on Beech road for their reception, a gorgeous styled restaurant with amazing food and welcoming staff. We wandered along Beech Road on their couple shoot to the village green, stopping along the way to make use of the streets colourful and characterful shops and bars as backdrops for their photos.

As soon as we met Rose & Josh for their pre wedding shoot we knew we would love all their cool details and style of their wedding day and they certainly didn’t disappoint! Rose looked the epitome of 1930’s Hollywood glamour in her Case of the Curious Bride vintage styled gown with a Deco style belt and hair piece, nestled in tousled curls and finished with gorgeous red lips. Rose’s shoes, spotted by her parents in Italy, were Gucci heels with bee embellished toes, perfect for a wedding in Manchester! The Manchester worker bee also featured in their pre wedding shoot in their local village of Monton, where we found an amazing Manchester worker bee wall mural. Josh looked equally cool in a tweed suit, paisley tie and brogues with a twist! Their theme tied together beautifully with touches of copper, modern-luxe accessories and flowers from Monton Florist in their local village.

We were also lucky enough to visit The Principal Manchester hotel for the first time as Rose and her bridesmaids all got ready there. It is a stunning building with beautiful architecture and tiled stairwells, it reminded us of the decor at our own wedding venue Victoria Baths.
