BRYONY and OLIVER’s wedding at WHIRLOWBROOK HALL in Sheffield

We first met Oliver & Bryony at one of our previous weddings - Rachel & Will’s wedding at Yorkshire Sculpture park in Yorkshire - and they booked us after seeing their photos. “We loved their photos and they couldn't recommend you enough.” They also loved that our business name comes from a song by one of their favourite bands, The National. We are obviously huge fans too so were excited to hear their choice of song for their registrar signing, Apartment Story, which was sung acoustically by one of their friends.

THE BRIDE AND GROOM’S LOVE OF THE OUTDOORS AND THE PEAK DISTRICT.

Bryony & Oliver, who live in Sheffield, share a love of the outdoors and love to spend their time exploring the nearby Peak District. We incorporated this love into their pre wedding shoot, they suggested meeting at Curbar edge which has a spectacular view over the peak district and was perfect to watch sunset so we were treated to some gorgeous golden light! Whirlowbrook Hall, a stunning wedding venue in Sheffield, is sat on the edge of the Peak District and so was the ideal venue for them. With so much outdoor space for guests to enjoy and gardens to explore on their coupe shoot it was perfect for their outdoors themed wedding day. Their table plan was a massive OS map of the Peaks which they had pinned with their favourite walks, it took them a whole weekend to make!.

A RELAXED WEDDING DAY ALL ABOUT FRIENDS AND FAMILY

The most important thing to Bryony and Oliver was “to have a laid back day, with beer and emotions flowing.” and we couldn't think of a better way to describe their wedding day. The weather was glorious, allowing guests to enjoy the sun, the Pimms and the games on the front lawn. There were plenty of laughs, hugs and emotions throughout and you could tell how much everyone was enjoying the day and each others company.

A MORI LEE WEDDING DRESS AND WILD FLOWERS AT WHIRLOWBROOK HALL IN SHEFFIELD

Bryony looked stunning in her Mori Lee by Madeline Gardner lace dress, it was the perfect mix of luxury and laid back style. She teamed it perfectly with a gorgeous flower crown by Flourish Florists who also made all the wild flower arrangements and bouquets perfect for a relaxed summer wedding.

WE LOVE AN EPIC DANCE FLOOR AT A WEDDING!

“We especially love all the action shots of the dance floor, some serious shapes being thrown!” and what a dance floor it was! We had so much fun capturing everyone letting loose on the dance floor, it seemed like they were all having the time of their lives. The dance floor is one of our favourite parts of the day to photograph especially when it as packed as Bryony and Oliver’s was! We even get involved ourselves, getting right in amongst the action and dancing too, which enables us to capture the best that dance floor atmosphere and those epic moves.

We had the “BEST. DAY. EVER. Our faces hurt from all the smiling. It was wonderful having our nearest a dearest there, at such a beautiful venue. The whole day was one big highlight, and will be a one we never, ever forget. Emotional speeches, friends singing great tunes, grooves on the dance floor - we couldn't have asked for a better day.”
